On our way to wherever we were heading we came across Binalong. What a quaint little town! John Gilbert (a bushranger, who was part of the Ben Hall gang) was buried just out of town 150 years ago. So, the Binalong community is celebrating.
On the road again and we travelled to Mirrool. Found a free camp on the Wiki app. A great campsite! Only 21 residents, the Royal Hotel and silos. Very clean toilets and shower. Great camp kitchen and outdoor setting for use. If you need power that will cost you $10 per night.
We met John& Jill from Brisbane. We all had dinner at the pub. Tasty home cooked meals.
Packed up next morning and headed off about 10ish.
Today we found ourselves at Hay.
